Private Infant Swim Lessons

So this is kind of a yuppy mama question, but does anyone in West Seattle (or Seattle) offer private swim lessons for infants? We’re looking for my 5 month old daughter and would really like one on one instruction as opposed to a group setting.

I would find a warmer pool and the closest ones are Safe and Sound in Westlake and the Matt Griffin YMCA in Seatac. You can do private lessons (not sure about infants, but call) at the Y and I think worth the 15 minute drive to Seatac for the warmer water. The WS Y also has private lessons, but the pool is not as warm as the Matt Griffin pool. Personally, I felt like this was important for my baby when she was that little.

UrbanFab…my kids are currently taking group swim lessons at the Matt Griffin Y in SeaTac as kayo above mentions, and they do have a wonderful children’s pool. They keep it much warmer than the average pool so it is more enticing to small children, and my boys love to get in it. They do offer private lessons, but you need to be a Y member. You could call them to see about availability and such though at (206) 244-5880. I couldn’t recommend the Matt Griffin Y and their swim lessons more highly though! We love it there!
