    Anyone know why there were at least 4 police cars in front of Lafayette tonight?

    I assume it was because of a homeless person sleeping in front of the main doorway. I first noticed him early in the evening sitting on a ledge near the front door. I didn’t think too much of it then, but a few hours later when I walked by I saw that he was sleeping by the front door. It’s very sad to realize how much homelessness surrounds us.

    4 police cars for one homeless man sleeping? That seems a bit over the top.

    I would presume that is the theory of overwhelming force. 1 or 2 officers? The person may try to fight. 8? No way.

    @Robert.. i don’t know… but your theory makes sense:)

    once your eyes are opened to the telltale signs of homelessness,

    they are literally everywhere.. every day

    and yes, i find it sad.
