At Pine Lake Cellars, we are a small, family owned winery, located in West Seattle, with a goal of making excellent wines from some of the finest and most expressive vineyards from Washington State’s Columbia Valley region.

We are looking for a passionate, driven individual, that will create memorable experiences for our guests. The responsibilities include, tasting room operations with prepackaged food offerings, retail sales, hosting walk in guests and tasting appointments, help increase direct to consumer sales and wine club sign ups. Must be available to work Fridays 3:30-9:00, Saturdays 12:30-9:00, Sundays 12:30-6:30 and possibly some Thursday evenings and some holidays.

Job Responsibilities:
-The Tasting Room is table service only.
-Busing tables and running dishwasher regularly.
-Provide the highest level of customer service to our all our guests.
-Opening and closing of our winery patio and tasting room facility. This includes lifting and setting up outdoor chairs and furniture.
-Maintain a friendly, warm and clean tasting room environment.
-Knowledgeable on Washington State wines, region and wine production to share with guests.
-Provide a unique and educational experience to all guests.
-Contribute to winery sales and wine club sign ups.
-Promote current events to the tasting room guests.
-Assist with winery events as needed.
-Assist in booking winery reservations.
-Knowledgeable on winery experiences.
-Establish relationships with guests to help maintain referrals and repeat business.
-Support Owners with assignments as needed.
-Assist with inventory and restocking throughout the day and at end of the day.
-General cleaning of facility including bathroom, vacuuming, wiping down tables, etc.

Job Requirements:
-Must have current MAST alcohol server permit
-Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
-Professional attitude and a strong work ethic
-Energetic and personable with guests
-Tasting room and POS experience required
-2 years of hospitality/sales experience
-Possess a strong knowledge of wine
-Commerce7 winery software knowledge a plus
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a quick moving environment
-must be 21 years of age or older
-must be able to lift up to 50lbs
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
