I am having my first child in June and looking for a good local Pediatrician. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Congrats!

We have used Swedish Children’s Clinic

(Address: 3400 California Ave SW #200, Seattle, WA 98116

    Phone:(206) 320-5780)

for close to 13 years now. The docs there have been terrific, the front desk people are kind and caring (and terrific), and the nurses are fabulous about getting back to us quickly when we call (one of our kids is special-needs, so things can go funky pretty quickly).

Haven’t had a clunker in the group for when we’ve had appointments with any that aren’t our regular pediatrician!

we have also used Swedish, specifically Dr. Hott but also Dr. Franklin (and we’ve seen just about all the other doctors too) and we have always been happy with the care and service. It’s always a positive experience.

We were not happy with Swedish here so we go to Polyclinic Madison – nearly as easy to get to and much newer and cleaner. Our 6 year old loves Dr. Hathaway – she really is awesome but all the staff there are great. Best wishes!

Another happy Swedish family here. We go to Dr. Okorn and she’s great.

We also go to Swedish. We love Dr. Franklin because he is pretty middle of the road and very supportive of the decisions you make as a parent.
