treefairiesMemberThere are so many companies that offer produce delivery now, so I am looking for advice on who to use. Who offers an affordable and dependable service. Who do you use? Thanks so much!

nighthawkParticipantIt’s not delivery, but we get our produce from Tiny’s CSA. I have to pick it up once a week. I like it as it’s a mix of fruits and vegetables. Might not be what you want since it’s a pick up but I have to say I’ve been really happy with them.

JanSParticipantI use Full Circle – $37 for a small box (works for 2 people), $46 for a large box, if family is a bit bigger. Options are once a week, once every two weeks, etc. You can pick and choose what you don’t ever want to get, if there’s something you absolutely hate. A lot of their produce comes from their own farm in Snohomish Co. It’s always fresh, and a good variety. And they have a “green grocer” where you can add things if you want. Organic as much as they are able, and everything that they do not grow themselves is labelled with origin.
Mention my name (see my website) when you sign up, and we may both get a one time discount. They also sometimes have Groupon sales.

wrenMemberI love the idea of having fresh produced delivered or picking it up and Full Circle sounds great with all the choices, but I’m only one person and my tastes are a little limited, so I don’t think I can get small enough quantities from anyone.

JanSParticipantI live alone, too…I get a box every other week. Usually has some sort of lettuce, potatoes, veggies like zucchini, broccoli, broccoli raab, arugula, spinach in early spring..carrots, radishes, fruit (usually 3 or 4 kinds) which may consist of 4 apples, 3 0r 4 oranges, maybe 3 or 4 peaches this time of year, pears in the fall and winter, bananas sometimes, onions, shallots, shrooms….these things are not always in the same box, but if you check out their page, look at a sample small box. I find that if I wash, trim, etc. everything as soon as I get it for storage, I can have fresh organic veggies every day, lunch and dinner. I do supplement towards the end of the 2 week cycle before the next box comes. I’d say give it a try…noting to lose, and you can always stop/cancel :)
