Obnoxious tar smell lower Gatewood– any one else smell it?

About three times in the past two weeks there has been a very obnoxious smell–like tarring a roof smell– in the early morning. My neighbor and I both smell it. One day it was so strong breathing was difficult. Seems unusual that there would be that many houses in the neighborhood having roofs tarred. I live a block from cafe Ladro. Any one else smelling it?

Gatewood Elementary is having roof work done this summer so that may be the culprit.

bellejax– the same thought came to mind this morning on my way to Morgan Junction. I saw workers on the roof of the school.

It is the school. They are redoing the roof.
