    HMC Rich…

    i forgot the news:))))

you may not like the information you get from free speech tv… but it is information you probably should have if you want to make informed decisions. You sure aren’t going to get that information anywhere else.

i.. along with millions of others.. help pay for those satellite signals and that programming so you have the opportunity to be informed…

    no need to say thanks:)

BTW.. i sent you a personal message for your wife via PM… to pick up the message… you click on the notice at the top of the forum page or scroll to the bottom of the forum page to click on the notice there…

Hi, I will check the pm. I forget to look down there.

There is definitely something going on with the climate. No argument there. I just don’t agree with the chicken little scenario. I see the polar caps are smaller and the glaciers in AK are smaller. Quite often science is revised and there is not enough information to definitively say. 35 years ago the cry was global cooling. I wasn’t around but at one time the earth was flat!! LOL

The Palin scares some and gives others comic relief. All I can say is that she will be part of a new wave of younger Republicans who will be around in two, four, six, eight years. If Obama has four bad years (which I doubt) then you will see a regrouped party.

Does the Peter principle apply? Maybe, but we will have to see how the new national politicians do.

    Should be an interesting ride.

Is Palin the face you want the new wave of younger Republicans who will be around in 2, 4, 6, 8 years to emulate?

please say it ain’t so… i was really beginning to like you in spite of the republican rhetoric :)

and yes. i do remember global cooling… but that still isn’t good enough reason to dismiss the evidence that is right before our eyes.

do you know how long it takes a glacier to form? it’s not as though we can regrow them in our lifetime. this is not really reversible damage that we are contending with right now.

The best we can do if we start making it a priority right now is slow the rate of loss.

The sky isn’t falling.. but we are losing our polar caps at an alarming rate…

the volume of water on this planet… and our weather systems… are very dependent on those ice caps you know… and the consequences aren’t looking so good right now.

yes, all things being equal.. this could be just another cyclical pattern.. but all things are not equal.

the destruction of our polar ice caps is not an event that has been witnessed and recorded by man before…

    That’s worth thinking about.

something definately is going on right now.. and even if it isn’t all attributable to man caused global warming.. we had best do what we can to contain it.

survival is always in our best interests.

Agreed, survival benefit us all. If we can help, I am all for it. If it is used to compromise our freedoms, I might have a little problem with that.

My twisted Science Fiction brain wonders if the lost city of Atlantis is buried under Antarctica. We know that can’t be true since there is a buried STARGATE there. Everyone knows that!!! Then again, the Battlestar Galactica is about to visit us too.

Sorry, aliens took over for a moment.

Palin would be a low choice on my Republican list.

During the election I wanted results oriented candidates. Romney or Giuliani. I prefer conservatives but I liked what Rudy did with New York.

Romney will probably be around in four years. The Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is promising but wants to get his state on track before any other jobs. I like Condi Rice too but I think she is too smart to run for President.

Horror of horrors, there is another Bush out there, but I really don’t think Jeb will run for the Presidency, just the Senate.

I am working in my secret lab trying to re-animate Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater. I’ll let you know how it is going. So far all I’ve come up with is an iced chai tea latte. It’s just RIGHT!
