New Blog banner photo?

With the abundance of photographic talent that West Seattle harbors, it might be time to solicit a new blog banner photo. As nice as the current pic is, i think it’s time for a change. How about it?

I tried years ago to suggest a change. But I think the publishers have a particular affinity for the current banner. I think that top image was updated or reshot at least once. But I might be mistaken.

I was provided with the original pixel specs (which seem really quaint) 805 x 208 pixels but neither of my candidates worked out (granted one was Seattle, but the other was a cloudy Alki from the Ferry).

The only other shot I could imagine is Lincoln Park, but we’d probably have to include an off-leash dog…

Several times we’ve tried to come up with a shot of MIWS wearing his best Conan the Barbarian gear while wrestling a Lincoln Park coyote to the ground, but it just never seems to come together quite right.
