Need an inexpensive extra key for your older Lexus?

My wife and I have an early 90s Lexus sedan and we needed a couple of extra keys.

The dealers want $300 for a key with the remote alarm button. Forget that! The next option is a key which does not have the remote option for about $70. Still too much!

After calling around, Lexus of Bellevue will make you a “generic” (non Lexus) key for a much more reasonable $21.

This key will work everything in the car and will also turn the alarm on and off when your turn the key in the door lock.

Just thought I would pass this along for anyone who might be looking for an inexpensive extra key for their older Lexus.
