    This is Pam’s Facebook post about Runt and the need for some donations. You guys have been more than generous before in animal related issues, so here’s to hoping again.

    ‘Hi my name is Runt, her former owners could not afford the leg amputation so I took it on and off, well FCAT is really having a tough time right now $$$. I need a roof done on my facility. everyone is struggling and the price of gas has pretty much halted me from all trapping. I hate asking for help but FCAT needs is now. All donations can go straight to south seattle vt 205-242-8338, plz dont use pay pay it cost me money. Anything is appreciated.’

    First, correction on phone number for South Seattle Veterinary Hospital (206) 242-8338.

    Second, how much money did/will surgery and follow up care cost?

    And, yes West Seattle Blog readers have been incredibly generous with animals in need. Both Mufasa and Lady Jane Grey were able to have the care they needed for their injuries because of blog readers. Both are doing well too!

    Thank you Pamela for helping Runt. Will she also be available for adoption in the future?

    Runt’s stitches are out, she is now jumping up on the windowsill and hanging with the other kittens and cats. She is ready for her new home.

    Runt is SUCH a sweet girl! I can’t wait to see her find her forever home – she so deserves it.
