BCRParticipantCan anyone recommend a good massage therapist?
I am looking for deep tissue and would prefer a woman but am fine with either (just more comfortable since I am female but isn’t that big of a deal).
Thank you in advance!

valvashonParticipantDana Lyn Olson, 206-788-5562. She gives an unbelievably good massage. I’m calling her myself later today.

Seattle TrashMemberAnother enthusiastic vote for Mean Girls in Burien. Stephanie is absolutely wonderful.

squareeyesParticipantA third for Mean Girls! I’ve used both Stephanie and Jen. Jen is awesome at beating you up with her deep tissue. Stephanie not only does that but also utilizes cupping and intra-oral massage if that’s what you need. You can’t go wrong with either therapist.

LenaParticipantI just got my first massage from Kim Rogers today. She is excellent! I’ve been hearing so many ravs for a long time.
BTW she does animal and people massage

SueParticipantI love Desire Loper, who’s up at ActivSpace. Not the easiest to get an appointment with, as she’s pretty busy, but worth the wait http://gypsyfootmassage.com

CountingCoupMemberFinding a therapist for me has been really difficult because I wanted deep tissue massage combined with someone that has a good touch to follow the length of the muscle. I just recently found my favorite therapist in LaVida Massage and her name is Jalycea… Don’t be fooled by her stature, she is a little athlete and go as deep as you need ~

SueParticipantThe only “problem” with LaVida is that there is a lot of turnover there with staff. I was a member for about 8 months, and every time I would find a therapist I liked, they would disappear and I’d have to start with a new person. Some people like the variety, but I prefer someone who gets to know me and I don’t have to constantly train to my preferences.

mojiMemberI second Melissa at Guided Ground! She is quite gifted with the massage hands, and deep tissue is her specialty. She’s my massage therapist, and I’m really picky.

She comes to your home. She’s amazing. I started seeing her after she became a WSB sponsor years ago, and now my husband and I both see her almost once a month. It is so lovely not to have to get in a car and drive home after a relaxing massage. Highly recommend.

greengurlMemberI would highly recommend Kim Rogers. I have been getting treatment massage for over 30 years and she is the best. She has incredible knowledge of the workings of the body and uses that to do deep tissue work that gets to the root of the problem. She knows how to to release muscles and help your whole body function better as the whole unit that it is! She is the best! Try her out – you will be happy you did!

Sybil DiscourseMemberThe massage therapists at Swanson and Seepersad are great! I have been very impressed by Jordan’s knowledge and skill, myself. I treated my daughter to a birthday massage with Jordan, and she wants to reschedule as soon as possible :-)
