Boyfriend is in the process of converting from oil to gas. The oil tank is now removed (oy, what a problem that turned out to be) and the gas line was just run to the house.

He needs an expert to do the gas plumbing and some duct modification, and to advise on purchasing the furnace and water heater.

Does anyone have any personal experience with such an entity?

a friend in the Admiral District who converted to gas highly recommends Alexander’s Heating and Air in Kirkland. Yeah, I know, not a local WS business..

For the hotwater heater, consider going tankless. I love my tankless hotwater heater, its gas, and never runs out! It was installed over 10 years ago by Washington Energy Services.

Jeff Jewett 206.795.4611 is an expert in every area you mentioned. He is the owner of a WS business – West Seattle Heating and Air.

He just did my heat pump and electric furnace. AMAZING service, quality and price!
