2 Much WhineParticipantI might be looking for a college student to do some odd jobs over the summer. The person should enjoy weeding, gardening, etc. Is there anybody out there in West Seattle that fits this description? Just wondering. . . . .;-)

Leah PParticipantFrom my office, I’d suggest: Peter Wolf’s son, Simon (who is 21), is home from a semester abroad in Thailand, India and Nepal. He is handy with small jobs that require a flexible schedule, short notice and quick turn around.
He has experience with painting, gardening and general maintenance, and is willing to learn new skills. He has a van for hauling garbage/recycling etc. He has most of the tools required for the above work and is available until late August. He asks for minimum of one hour of work per job at $10 an hour. And can be reached by email at simon.wolf1@gmail.com , or phone (206) 930-8117.

DynamicTravelerMemberMy son just graduated and is planning to work and study in Denmark in the fall. He is trying to do odd jobs over the summer to earn money for his travels. He has much experience in doing odd jobs. Painting (indoor and exterior), petsitting, babysitting, weeding/yard work, moving furniture, filing and office work, cleaning, even cooking, you name it. He has local references that he can provide as well. He is a hard worker and available all summer, all hours. We live near the junction so anywhere in WS is great. Pay is negotiable. You can contact him (Braden Sullivan) at bradenjames92@gmail.com or at (520)450-0786 by text or call.

2 Much WhineParticipantThis is very strange indeed. I have been active to varying degrees on the West Seattle Blog for many years. I have connected with many of you over the years (JoB, MIWS, JanS, SBRE) and you know who I am. Although I applaud this person for wanting to hire someone, this person is not me. The “original” 2 Much Whine did not post this ad. Hmmmmm, scratches head. Hope the name theft is nothing nefarious. You can still love me, though, JoB.

BrickhouseParticipantOOH this is weird someone using the same user name as you, when I have posted something and can never remember how to long back on (old age) it always pops up saying this user name is already being used… glad you posted that this poster is not you.

2 Much WhineParticipantIt is so strange that prior to my post today at 12:50 the previous post was from 2011 yet it looks like somehow something happened yesterday to make this thread active on the forums. I have no idea what is going on or why an 8 year old post has risen from the dead. Now I get it. . . . . Easter! That’s the only explanation.

miwsParticipant2MW, Or, perhaps without you knowing it yet, that once again. nearly 8 years later, you need a college student for odd jobs?
