RainyDay1235MemberI love eggs, and I have a picky toddler who needs protein and likes eggs too. I’m disturbed by the egg industry (destroy male chicks at sexing, the truth of “free-range” etc). Ignorance WAS bliss.
So, I’d like to support local “cruelty-free” egg farmers – if that even exists. Is there a Farmers Market egg seller – or another source – maybe Tony’s?

sacatoshParticipantWest Seattle Produce carries fresh local farm eggs. Inside the shelter on the right hand side there’s a cooler with milk, eggs, cheeses, etc.

stinaParticipantThere are several vendors at the WS Farmers Market who sell eggs, but they often sell out early in the market. When I need eggs, I try to be there by 10am.
If the market is not convenient for you, the Swinery also carries local organic eggs from Stokesberry Sustainable Farms. It’s a great farm I’ve been to many times and I recommend all their products.

johnnyblegsMemberI second Stokesberry. Their eggs (and chickens) are delicious. They have a booth at the WS Farmers Market & the Ballard Farmers Market if the Swinery is out.
