I have a 1912 workers bungalow off of Harbor Ave and I am interested in lifting the house 2ft – 3ft to turn the basement into legal square footage and expand my living space. Is there anyone in or near West Seattle that has had experience with a contractor and do you who recommend?

THANK YOU, this is a very big project for me!

I would talk to Nickel Brothers. They have done a lot of house moving and jacking up in the Seattle area for years.

I used Seattle Stabilization a few years ago. They were a little hard to get ahold of, but did the work affordably. In West Seattle too. I only has one sagging corner lifted and reblocked. But lifting houses is what they do.

Hey cb: I noticed today that there is a house being lifted just now or very recently on Findlay on the alley between 47th and 46th. Think the company noted is B.A. Davis? Might want to swing by for a look-see.
