As with any school, I think it does depend on the student and parent involvement. I have one at Chief Sealth and one at Kennedy. We gave our oldest the option and she opted to stay with her friends at Sealth, our son made the choice to switch over. I can tell you that Kennedy was absolutely the right choice for him. Our daughter does have moments where she regrets not attending Kennedy but out of our three, she is probably the one that could survive and thrive at any school. Our youngest, being like our middle kid, will be also transitioning to Kennedy. I also went to Kennedy and as far as party school, I don’t think it is any different than any other school. You can find trouble no matter where you are. It certainly hurts the wallet a little more but knowing that my son is as happy as he is there, well worth the $$.
