Retail Manager Buyer Merchandiser

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour

The Retail Store Manager is an invaluable position in our company. The Retail Manager will oversee, and take responsibility for, all store operations including the following:

Oversee, and participate in, the production of sales and profits by setting and achieving sales goals and providing excellent customer service.
Oversee, and take responsibility for, all store personnel including the following: interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Ensure the store is merchandised to maximize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.
Maintain the reputation of the store by ensuring all decisions and actions benefit the customer and promote the company’s short and long term goals.
Creating weekly selling report results for future buying.
Partner with store leadership to discuss and plan store layouts and creative design flow of the merchandise including product rotation and markdown placement.
Demonstrate the ability to properly install and remove window presentations and store promotion events in a timely manner, including the ability to pack, unpack, and prep all props while supporting the visual direction of the company standard.
Display urgency when getting new product to the floor.
Additional duties as assigned.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Is customer focused and has a proven track record of consistently excellent customer service.
Has experience in retail management or a similar management role.
Has excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate, listen, and maintain a positive attitude.
Has the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including some evening and weekend shifts.

SALARY:

Pay (including hourly, and bonus) will range from approximately $35,000 to $40,000 plus. The manager’s ability to increase sales and store profit will impact the salary significantly. There is tremendous potential for growth with this company.
