jwwsParticipantDo you have a spectacular garden, or know some one who does? The WS Garden Tour Garden Selection Committee is currently wrapping up their previewing and selecting gardens for the 2013 tour, but they still need one or two more gardens to round out next year’s tour. If you would like to nominate a garden for consideration contact WSGT at: info at westseattlegardentour dot com

tom kelleyParticipantI’ve gone to your website, filled in the info, clicked submit and been taken to a page that says page can’t be found.

jwwsParticipantHi Tom,
Thanks for letting me know, I will forward the info to our website manager. In the meantime if you have a garden to nominate just email us with the info at the email address in the original post: info@westseattlegardentour.com.

jwwsParticipantBump.
Website link has been fixed. We are still looking for one or two more gardens for the 2013 tour, so if you know of one that you would like to see on the tour nominate it!

addParticipantI think it will be hard to top the first & last gardens from this year’s tour (not sure if that was the official order, but for me those were stunning bookends) … wow!

jwwsParticipantAdd,
thank you, we think all our gardens and gardeners ROCK especially since they need to say “OK, I’ll let 600 -800 people tour my garden in a day !” but I think we have a lot of hidden gems out there that are still undiscovered…..

redblackParticipantso some of us have gardens that don’t necessarily belong in magazines, but that we’ve put a lot of hard work and money into nonetheless. like, oh, i dunno – one that used to just look like a riot of weeds, but that is now showing some promise as a true northwest arborcultural/horticultural site.
are we qualified? or does every submission have to look like it belongs in clyde hill?
because i’ve seen pictures on WSB, and they seem pretty hoity-toity and kind of intimidating to us DIY’ers.

jwwsParticipantRedblack,
We look at all types of gardens and like to have a diversity on the tour, in fact many of the gardens that have been selected on previous tours are DIY gardens, so don’t be afraid to nominate your garden – you never know! We hope to wrap garden selection up over the next few weeks, so please send us your info and I’m sure the Garden Selection Committee will be happy to preview your garden!
