grannyjMemberTried to go tanning today at Island Tan and shocked to see “Out of Business” sign posted. Anyone know who owner is (was) or how to get in touch with them? They owe me money back for unused tanning sessions.

WSBKeymasterLetter on the door now says go to Seattle Sun Tan to claim your unused tans, by June 30th.

DianeParticipantI was just going to email you; just stopped by there and read the sign; sort of nice letter, but I didn’t see any contact info for owners; they did put address and phone for Seattle Sun Tan, whick just bought Desert Sun; taking over the tanning world; smart on their part to honor unused tans to get the new biz

DianeParticipantwell good news; stopped by Seattle Sun Tan tonight; they have all the records of Island Tan clients; stacks of paper records; so they found mine, and entered into their system; very friendly and nice; they also said tons of Island Tan customers have already come in; and even better, they said the unused tans are good for 90 days, not just til June 30

john mooreMemberMy friend Donna ran that place for years and also had a job on the side and cared for her parents. She provided an outstanding business and also employed many young people. Some were good employees and some took advantage of her. Please remember this place in a good way. Most small businesses give it all until they crash. They are what makes us a community family. Thanks Donna for running the best tanning place I ever went to…
