    Hi everyone!

We’re getting married on Monday September 2 at The Hall at Fauntleroy and are looking for somewhere for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready the morning of. We’ve looked into hotel rooms, but it’s tricky to find one big enough for all of us…

We’d love to find a house/condo/vacation rental that would be available to us for the day, preferably with lots of natural light. We’ll probably need it from about 8am-4pm that day, and might be open to staying overnight the night before. If that’s the case, it would need to be able to sleep 7.

Our budget is about $250-300. Anyone have an idea of a space that might work for us? I’ve checked out VRBO and airbnb but am having trouble finding a place that will let us use it just for the day!

    Thanks! :)

You might want to talk with Linda at the Wildwood BnB, which is just a stones throw away from your venue.

    .

Linda is a retired flight attendant, who runs a first class operation!

    .

Tell her Kevin sent you. I have sent lots of friends to spend the night with her. She serves a killer breakfast if you decide to spend the night!

    .

I’m sure she would be delighted to have some “daytime”business. Her pricing is well within your budget.

I should add that another major snag we’ve run into with vacation rentals is that our wedding is on Labor Day–no one wants to sacrifice Labor Day weekend business for a one-day rental! Kevin, I will definitely check out Wildwood–thank you for the suggestion! UrbanFabulous, I emailed that rental and am crossing my fingers that they may have space for us :)

The idea of a B&B reminded me of Villa Heidelberg – located near the Junction. Maybe that’s an option?

There is also a B&B in Gatewood. http://www.gatewoodwestseattle.com/
