Jks3369ParticipantQuestion – how much is a cabn from the airport to West Seattle. Just a ball park. We would be going just over the bridge.

wakefloodParticipantI’m used to a fair of right around $30.00 plus tip.

squareeyesParticipantEstimate higher, more like $45 if you’re going at a high traffic time. I haven’t had anything close to a $30 cab fare between Seaview and SEATAC in many years. I mostly use a very convenient park-n-ride not far off of 509 called Ajax Parking R Us. They’ve been great.

2 Much WhineParticipantNot sure if this will work for you but Alaska Air is providing free rides on Uber (new WSB sponsor) from Seattle to the airport for a couple days over the holidays. So that would mean that it’s free! How can you beat that?
December 24, 2013 at 8:59 pm #802044
KimberleyParticipantThe Uber free rides ends today. Cab rate from downtown to SeaTac is supposed to be a $40 flat fee (not including tip), so I would expect that to be ballpark for West Seattle.

tom kelleyParticipantWe recently took the Metro bus to and from the airport and were pleasantly surprised. We left Westwood Village precisely on schedule, arrived at the airport without delay for five bucks round trip. The only drawback was that the bus passes all the airlines and makes one stop at the far end of the terminal.

CandrewB1ParticipantThere used to be a great Sounder bus, but they cancelled it to people who avoided taking it for anytime other than regular business hours.

skeeterParticipantTake the bus to Westwood then it’s only a $10 or so ride home.

biankatParticipantIn October we ubered from 13 Coins to Ocean View for $42 (includes tip).

addParticipantIf you use Uber, opt for UberX (smaller cars, cheaper fares). I have always had great experiences and it is less than a taxi (about $32-24 instead of $40) from Gatewood Hill.

LVBebeParticipantCall eastside for hire – flat rate cab, great service, I’ve been using them for years for service to and from the airport and never had an issue.
