Highland Park Corner Store – Hiring Barista and Closer (2 positions)

Interested in working at our community-centric corner store? We’re looking for a few friendly folks to join our team. Current openings are below:

Barista / Counter Staff
Pay Rate: $16.50-18/hr + average of $10/hr tips

What you’ll be doing:
– Making and serving specialty coffee and tea beverages
– Greeting and building relationships with customers
– Pouring beer and wine
– Heating and serving prepared foods
– Serving ice cream
– Stocking groceries and inventorying items
– Following guidelines regarding cleanliness and safety
– Supporting the store with other side work as needed during your shift

Please reach out if you:

– Are dependable and team-oriented
– Are available weekdays and/or evenings and weekends
– Are 21 years of age or older
– Barista experience is a big plus!

Closer (Evenings)
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr + average of $10/hr tips

What you’ll be doing:
– Assisting counter staff with closing the store, including: cleaning, closing down equipment and outdoor furniture
– Greeting and building relationships with customers
– Assembling sandwiches and serving ice cream
– Stocking groceries and inventorying items
– Following guidelines regarding cleanliness and safety
– Supporting the store with other side work as needed during your shift

– Are 16 years of age or older
– Customer service experience is a big plus!
