Position Description
Seattle Lutheran High School seeks a qualified full-time science teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The position will start August 18, 2021. The teacher will be responsible for teaching both biology and chemistry as well as an elective science class to juniors and seniors.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid teaching certificate with a science endorsement. Applicants must have a strong personal faith and a servant heart. Applicants must be professional and have strong oral and written communication skills.

Ideal Qualifications
Ideal applicants will have 1-3 years experience teaching high school students and be a rostered Lutheran teacher.

Seattle Lutheran High School, located in West Seattle, offers a college preparatory education in the Lutheran tradition and has served students since 1978. We offer a personal and supportive school atmosphere where high academic standards and spiritual growth lead to confidence, hope, integrity, and passion. Seattle Lutheran is fully accredited through the National Lutheran School Accreditation and Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
