austinMemberHey look I have growlers! Seven bucks for a fillup at luna park. Half price growlers ($five or six I think?) on tuesdays at elliot bay brewery in burien. Six at georgetown brewery and eight at laughing buddah although that’s not quite west seattle. I feel like BPP fills for ten and up depending on what you get.

CMPParticipantI think I paid about $10 for Mac & Jack’s at Beveridge Place, but that was awhile back. If Austin is right, I need to get my growler back from a friend’s house because those are some good deals at Luna Park and EBB!

austinMemberLuna park is definitely the best deal I’ve found in my immediate area. Beveridge place has the best selection for growler fills that I know of. I don’t think the half price tuesday EBB fills are available at the restaurant on california. I don’t usually get their growlers and I’m not usually in burien so I’m not entirely sure on the price but I do know it’s half price each tuesday. http://elliottbaybrewing.blogspot.com/

TraciMemberI usually get Manny’s or 9 lb Porter at Luna. Great deal!

Mayor QuimbyMemberIndeed, Luna Park Cafe is also open on Sundays, as Georgetown is not.
Why is it that they actually sell this beer for only a single dollar mark up from what the brewery is selling?!?! They are a cafe selling a beer they did not even brew for a dollar more. Whereas Hale’s, The Pike, and Elliot Bay sell a growler for 10$, minimum, of their own beer.
I hope the LPC never raises the price.

JoanMemberDon’t forget Mister Tasty himself, Big Al! http://bigalbrewing.com/beer.php
Last growler I brought home a couple of months ago was around six clams, iirc, for the Abbey Wheat. :d
Mmmmm… BEER!

KevinParticipantFor a real cheap fill up, check out the great selection at Rite Aid. They always have great prices on 12 packs – usually less that $10!
.
Then grab a small paper sack and head to Lincoln Park on a sunny day :)

AnonymousInactiveKevin – I think I’ve seen you and your crew on the south end of Lincoln Park at the top of the stairs above the switchback. Can I hang out with you guys one time?
Joan – Big Al’s is where Pacific Rim formerly resided, correct? They had a seasonal chile beer I never had the good fortune to taste….
FYI – You can get growlers cheap ($3.99) up at The Cellar Homebrew Supply in Greenwood or you can purchase them online:

Plus, you might even consider learning how to brew your own! It’s pretty fun and the results are often out of this world.
