On the hunt for a great place to go to dinner – kid friendly, good food. . . not pizza.January 16, 2014 at 11:04 pm #803243
Fresh bistro treats kids well. So does Blackboard Bistro and their food is always tops. We also love Chaco Canyon. Endolyne Joes is always good for kids, too.January 16, 2014 at 11:49 pm #803244
Price range? For instance Fresh is pretty expensive and has excellent food. IMHO Endoyne does not have very good food Chaco is vegetarian and vegan. So, what do you want and how much do you want to spend?January 16, 2014 at 11:58 pm #803245
Fresh is on the higher price side, and it depends on what your kids will eat…delicious food though, one of my favorites.
Endolyne Joe’s is great for kids. The food there is better than it was in the recent past (new chef?) and I’ve had some really good meals there recently.
Chaco is veggie/vegan but delicious. Lots of options and I see kids there all the time.
Elliott Bay is known for it’s kid friendly atmosphere, especially lunch and early evenings.
Luna Park Cafe – easy but so-so food. More for those needing cheap/fast. They have good coffee however. Kids love it.
Marination Mai Kai – much more relaxed but good food. Take out! Great tacos that can be kid friendly. Lots of kids around here in the summers for sure.January 17, 2014 at 1:12 am #803246January 17, 2014 at 1:52 am #803247January 17, 2014 at 4:43 am #803248January 17, 2014 at 9:21 pm #803249
My daughter(10)always asks to go to Meander’s Kitchen. I’d go more often but I’m too lazy to make an extra stop for cash – convenience always wins. Also, I second Elliott Bay Brewery, West 5 and Endolyne Joe’s.January 17, 2014 at 9:35 pm #803250January 17, 2014 at 9:43 pm #803251
Try Highstakes Grill, at Bowling alley
Kid friendly and they food is pretty goodJanuary 17, 2014 at 9:53 pm #803252
leamk, Remember, Meander’s has an ATM! (Unless ATM fees are the issue)

just remember…Meander’s isn’t open past 3pm. It used to be in a previous location, but I don’t think she’s added dinner yet in the current location. :)January 18, 2014 at 12:30 am #803254
How about “Your House?” Enjoy fine kid friendly dining at home, with NO tip required :)
My wife and I REALLY love the Chinese take out at the WS Thriftway (WSB sponsor.)
Can’t beat the Thriftway deli for all sorts of other entree items from fried chicken to corn dogs.

All GREAT suggestions…. our fav’s (I have a 4 & 5 year old), EBB (in Burien as well), Kamei, Royal India Grill, Cactus, Guaymas, Terrible Beauty (for brunch), JaK’s, Lee’s, Endolyne Joe’s (also for brunch). Most have coloring sheets and crayons, too!January 20, 2014 at 5:54 pm #803256
I am in love with Korkoras. Greek food, small place, a little pricy but you can dine in or take out.January 23, 2014 at 4:50 am #803257February 5, 2014 at 7:43 pm #803258
Azama Sushi had several tables with children and one or two parents when I ate there just last night, and the food is excellent, healthy and worth every penny! Not as spendy as Mashiko’s, and you can hear each other talk (although I couldn’t follow anyone else’s conversation, which is a plus).
