EmmyJaneParticipantSo glad you said that- I need to try them!
They do doggie birthday cakes too! It fills the void from Three Dog Bakery going out of business.
EmmyJane has a doggie birthday coming up… maybe she’ll invite her West Seattle Blog dog friends. :-)

muttleysMemberOne of my fur children and I went to West Seattle Dawg a few days ago, he got several samples of the goodies. We took home a free sample bag and a nice size bag of cookies to share at the shop.
We also got some take home ice cream to share at the shop, boy did that make everyone happy! What a wonderful treat.

Cali101MemberDoes anyone think the location is odd, right next to stella’s? I understand that they offer different options, but also some of the same. Is that weird? Can our neighborhood support both? I sure hope so.

WSBKeymasterWest Seattle Dawg is a WSB sponsor, disclosure. We interviewed them before they became sponsors, for the first story we wrote about their then yet-to-open business. The operators say that the dog-day-care business in West Seattle is close to maxed out, plus that they offer complementary services – they told us they weren’t offering overnight care, nor grooming (two things that their neighbor apparently DOES offer), and they do offer the bakery/ice cream/parties options that I don’t believe are available elsewhere. There are many places where similar businesses are located very close to each other – restaurants, clothing stores …

JoBParticipanti can see taking the dogs in for grooming and then next door for a treat.
