afrikandoParticipantHere’s a shout out to Blue Valley Meats of Walla, Walla! I’ve used their delivery service for a few months now and am very happy with their products and customer service. They deliver to two WS neighborhoods (and other spots all over Puget Sound) once or twice a month.
If you’re looking for meat, poultry, dairy that is locally raised on pasture (or non-GMO feed for the chickens), antibiotic and hormone-free, and humanely killed on site (no terrifying truck ride to the knackers), give them a try. There’s no minimum order!

I’d suspect they are plastic-wrapped–Even Terra Bella Butchery in the Junction gets meat in “cryovac plastic” before sending me home with a cut in paper. And they have grass-fed beef too.

Seattle TrashMemberYep, most do. I love Terra Cole. They allow me to use jars or wrap in paper only–anything I can do to avoid using yet another piece of disposable plastic is a big plus.

afrikandoParticipantYes, plastic. Meat and poultry is frozen in vacuum packed plastic bags. Soup bones are in plastic grocery bags. Dairy is in glass.
