trickycooljParticipantJust wanted to start a thread where we can post sightings of various Hawks gear for purchase in West Seattle. Friday afternoon I saw a mom trying to find a jersey for her hopeful daughter but the store had just five very large men’s sizes left.
What I’ve seen so far:
Big 5, Westwood: the 5 men’s jerseys and some limited t-shirts
Barbell Drugs, White Center: a few shirts and knick-knacks one “Volume 12” flag
Personally I’ve been on the hunt for a 12 flag but haven’t really come across one locally.

trickycooljParticipantDefinitely saw a few in Southcenter at the Seattle Team Store.
My mom’s boyfriend asked if I could pick her up a jersey for her birthday next week but no one in Southcenter had women’s jerseys. Very little of anything for women actually.
Sports Authority had the best selection of championship shirts and had some for kids and women.

addParticipantIf you don’t mind ordering online I bought a jersey at the NFL store. It was before Christmas and there was a promotion so I saved 20%. I’m pretty sure that won’t be happening again anytime soon!

JayDeeParticipantI had to go to Sports Authority in Southcenter on Friday to score a Hawks emblem 3’x 5′ flag. They had a pretty impressive store of goods even on Friday. I’d hate to say, you are best leaving West Seattle for a good choice.

trickycooljParticipantI snagged my jersey from nflshop.com during the playoff bye week. No tax to WA so that was a pleasant surprise, they also had a 5% off promo code (I had to search for it but it was eligible on jerseys), there was a 3% cash back with my BofA credit card (sign up for their cash back program if you have any card with them it’s free to join), and they are affiliated with ShopRunner which is essentially an Amazon Prime knockoff for other B&M store websites to try and compete which also had a 30-day free trial with 2 day shipping free (don’t forget to cancel!). A huge hat tip to reddit/r/Seahawks for all the jersey buying tips online since no one locally carried women’s jerseys with sewn numbers.
Oh and don’t fall for the knockoff jerseys online they look terribly fake in the crowds at games/rallies.

kurly212Participant@AdmiralJaneway: nflshop.com and fanatics.com have Legion of Boom tees. I wish they had the ladies one in my size. :-/ It seems that fanatics.com is kind of a middleman (for lack of a better term) for nflshop.com. I discovered that they carry the same items at the same prices and if they’re out of a size on one site, they’re out on the other one, too. The only difference is that fanatics.com sells all kinds of sports gear, not just NFL, and they have different discounts/shipping offers.
@trickycoolj: Thanks for the tip on searching reddit for jersey info. I’m going to splurge on an authentic women’s jersey with the sewn-on numbers soon, but I just ordered a couple tees and a hoodie (fanatics.com) to get me through SB weekend. Maybe if I wait for awhile, I’ll even find the jersey at a discount.

JayDeeParticipantJust because I work nearby…You know the tunnel under Rainier Square Tower on Fourth Ave? A pop-up shop at the former fly fishing place appeared to be loading up with Hawks stuff. Looked like flags/banners at this point. I know many of us work downtown and this might be the place tomorrow or next week.

trickycooljParticipantLots of championship shirts at Target last night when I was getting my Blue Suede cake mix! Men’s and Women’s. They weren’t the official Nike shirt, so I presume cheaper than the official $28 championship shirts. They were back on the outside of the aisle with sporting goods in the corner of the store where they put seasonal/holiday items.
