To the individual who removed laminated WS Garden Tour posters from in front of my house on 55th SW. REALLY, were they bothering you that much or did you just feel the need to take them? Guess I’ll just have to laminate a few more a put them up again!

Hey, j. Were you satisfied with the poster design? Who won the contest anyway?

Yes DBP! We absolutely love this year’s poster and Sheila Lengle was the winning artist. BTW posters will be available to purchase on the tour this year as well as Sheila’s original artwork with all proceeds going to our beneficiaries.

The replacement poster is up and still standing! I dare say I have more posters than the poster theif has time!

Let’s consider possible motives for this crime.

Perhaps the local constabulary felt the art posters were a blight on the utility pole. (We have some lovely poles here in W.S. as you know. Such a shame that some people feel the need to deface them.) Still, if that were the case, you surely would’ve been given a citation.

Perhaps the thief had some moral objection to the garden tour. But if so, why didn’t he come here to the Blog forums first, where he could have been assured of a sympathetic hearing.

No. I think what we’re dealing with here is not your garden-variety miscreant but rather someone who loves the finer things. Namely, yours.

    My advice:

    1) Keep a sharp eyewatch.

    2) Try not to have such good taste.
