FREE wood and wood chips! Hurry for best selection

Hi folks, most of you know that Nickelsville is MOVING. They are doing the best they can to leave the site as they originally found it. The following has also been posted on Craigslist, so if you need some used wood / fire wood, and / or wood chips, hurry on down for best selection, otherwise the city will be talking it all to the landfill come Monday.

The former Nickelsville Tent City at 7116 West Marginal Way, at the corner of West Marginal Way and Highland Park Way is moving, and they have a HUGE pile of used lumber and wood chips.

Camp staff member Scott Morrow has declared that all scrap wood, and piles of wood chips are up for grabs, and FREE for the taking.

Lots of pallets, and used lumber, which could either be re-purposed or cut up into firewood for the coming winter months. Over 90% of the wood is untreated lumber and suitable for firewood.

Additionally, there is probably 8 to 10 yards of medium size wood chips that could be used for trails or landscaping.

Hurry, if you are interested, because by Monday the City of Seattle will be moving and dumping the material, and it will all end up in the landfill. 24 hour access, as their is NO gate, and no need to ask anyone prior. Bring your truck or trailer and take as much as you wish. The former small Park and Ride lot sits on the SE corner of the above mentioned intersection.

PLEASE be respectful of any items still INSIDE the temporary fencing, as all of the FREE material is located OUTSIDE the perimeter fence. Thank you. Enjoy!
