These 22+ 5 Star Google reviewed West Seattle puppy and adult dog classes are being taught on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons at the Service Dog Academy. You can view information about the classes including how to register at http://servicedogacademy.com/wp/classes/pet-dog/
Your enrollment in our classes goes to support our low cost service dog training program. We receive no government funding and almost no donations, this is the only way we can keep operating helping people with disabilities.
If you would like to see what classes taught by The Service Dog Academy are like you can view class information and a youtube video on our Classes webpage. This class is taught by instructor Mary McNeight, CPDT-KA, CCS, BGS. She has one of the ONLY dog training degrees CERTIFIED by the STATE OF WASHINGTON and has been featured on Fox’s National News Channel, Evening Magazine, local radio stations and The Seattle Channel.
In these $120 classes we focus on:
basic obedience – come, sit, stay, down, leave it
loose leash walking
polite greetings – anti jumping, ignoring other dogs, etc
handling – such as bathing, clipping nails, brushing teeth, brushing coat
solving in home behavioral problems – biting, chewing, digging, barking, etc
impulse control
