Closet-cleaning time: I have about a dozen three ring binders, most are 1″, white, with the slip-in cover. Is there an organization out there that could use them? I also have a bunch of high-quality larger (2″+) but they are branded on the front and/or spine with various company names/content titles. Send me an email if you’re interested: add726 at gmail dot com

add, off the top of my head, West Seattle Helpline comes to mind.

You might want to give them a call, and see if they can take them, or can direct you to another Organization that can use them.

15+ years ago, a co-worker at the time was involved in a Street Ministry, that helped Homeless Youth.

3-ring binders seemed to be an item they could always use.

I always kept my ears and eyes open, for binders that were being discarded, even to the point that a Government Agency in our building knew to drop off their discarded binders with me to pass along.

As I recall, in the Street Ministry’s case anyway, they and the kids didn’t care if the binders were branded.

Heck, nowadays, the kids would probably care even less, as it would just give them more of an excuse to slap a bunch of stickers on their binders! ;-)

    Hi,

I would like to have a few of them for an elderly lady making a scrapbook. Also, I would suggest donating them the the W.S. YMCA.

I can be reached at bionicjanet@q.com.

    Thank you

You could check with your local elementary schools. When we moved office buildings last December we donated many 3 ring binders to the local schools and they could have used more.

    Add,

Thank you for the binders you left today.

Greatly appreciate the sharing. They will go to good use.

    Thanks, Janet
