This is a RAVE..

for all those people who stick their necks out day after day to say what’s on their mind and to stick up for what they believe in.

Who take the time to inform (Ken and JanS have been especially good about linking us to original info), enlighten and entertain us.

And even to those who challenge us… as long as they don’t cross the line into name calling and slurs… (a little bit of humor goes a long way towards making opposing ideas palatable).

It’s working.

theHOuse admits he read through 90(?) pro.. and not so pro democratic posts in the Hillary conversation to catch up before throwing his republican bomb:) I don’t know that i would have had the patience to hear everyone out that way had they been republicans:)

We have become proactive… with one person voicing a concern, another posting where to find resources.. and perhaps still another following through to form action that starts the wheels of change turning.

We have formed a community of members who actually want to meet one another.. a community where sometimes bitter opponents can come together on common projects.

We have become interesting.. for every person who becomes a member and posts, it is estimated 9 more simply make our posts part of their day. Ken hints that we might even have the ear of the ear of our super delegates:) how cool is that.

I think this may be a fairly unique experiment in community building.

I am honored to be part of it.

I’ll second that, JoB. I’m mostly a lurker, but I sure learn a lot from you’all. Special thanks to Ken for answers to several questions I did post. Sometimes I’m a little intimidated by all the brilliant back and forths…but again, I learn a lot.

I’m primarily a reader too, as the majority of the posters have a much better grasp of most of the topics than I do. I am frequently awed by the discourse that people have on here, and I certainly don’t want to miss out on any of the discussions! Thanks WSB! (and JoB :))
