Hi folks! I just moved to Seattle from the east coast and am living here in West Seattle (so awesome) until Sept 15th, but then I need to find new housing. Can anyone recommend good resources for finding rental apartments, studios, or shared housing / roommates? I’d really appreciate it!

alkiapartmentrentals.com. They have a number of buildings in WS. A lot of other places put sign’s up in front-you just have to drive around keeping an eye open.

I lived at City Watch Apartments in the Alaska Junction for 5 years and it is the best place I’ve ever lived in terms of great management, as well as the walkability of the area. Only reason I left was to buy a condo last year, otherwise I’d still live there. http://www.citywatchapts.com – they have several apartments right now that are available. (I’m also from the east coast originally – NYC – and have been here 16 years now. Welcome!)

Hi there! Welcome to West Seattle. Im an apartment manager at Monterey Apartments on California Ave. I’ve got an opening coming in September I think you would be interested in. It’s 1375 a month plus 50 for water/sewer/trash. All our neighbors are really awesome.
You can find the listing at the link.
