Buy a Gift Certificate for dad for an hour of relaxing massage, and get one for yourself at 25% off. Dad’s would be $70, yours would be $52.50. He deserves it, and so do you. Cash, check, CC only – no insurance billing. I’m in the Admiral District, easy to find. My office is quiet and relaxing. For more information, and to charge to a CC, see http://www.massageforwell-being.com

A present like this reminds me of the little boy who bought his mom a baseball mitt for her birthday.

Yeah I could see that too maplesyrup but I’m a Dad and would love it.

A mitt wouldn’t be all that bad if it meant being able to play catch with said boy :)

hahaha…Maplesyrup, are you saying men don’t get massage? or it’s not “manly”? Not sure I understand…and my male clients would argue that :)

    :)

Hey if some men get massages that’s ok with me. Just not my bag. In my case that gift would definitely be more for my wife than me.

I’d rather get a steak and a good bottle of whiskey.

maplesyrup…you have muscles, you are a weekend warrior, your muscles get sore..and massage can help with that. It’s not all foo-foo, fluffy stuff. I have one male client who has been coming for 5 years, has told me that he never would have been able to work again (after 2 shoulder surgeries)without my help. I suppose it’s all in how you look at it :)

    I like a good steak, too – lol…

Haha that’s good. I admire your tenacity.

But I don’t like strangers touching me. Maybe I need a therapist, minus the massage.

Hope people take you up on the offer though!

Jan, I think there’s an untapped market here…massage, steak and whiskey. Count me in!

JenV, it could be a package between me and Jak’s…imagine the possibilities…or I could just give them a cheap steak, tell ’em to cook it themselves, and an airline size bottle of JD…

maplesyrup…I understand. I know that there are others who just feel being touched by a stranger is, well, “creepy”, but…it’s purely on a healthcare basis, I promise, just like a doc touching you. I once had a female friend tell me that she would never go to a male therapist because it would be “like cheating on her husband”, and that she didn’t want to be touched by another woman because it was, well, a woman, and she wasn’t “into that”. How hard for me to explain that it’s not what she was thinking it was. So I get it. We can do our best to educate, but..it is what it is. Sigh…

Hope you get your steak and whiskey :)

special is on until Sunday, as it’s just gift certificates, not the actual massage itself. They can do that any time, by appointment.
