happy hourParticipantHi Mike. I met with Dr Gormley of West Seattle Optix today. He is a lovely man. They have been in business for 18 years. His manager of 11 years is Soozie. Call anyone on his great team to make an appointment. 932.8276.
Located @ 4555 California Way (Westseattleoptix.com). Another blog member and myself have offered to cover a nominal amount to help pay for cost of lenses. They will set you up with everything you need. They open @ 10;00. So give them a call and make your appointment. Write back with appointment time and I can arrange transportation for you.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you today. Yahoo 4 eyes! :) I liked them so much- I have found a new optician as well!- when I need new glasses!!!

Transportation shouldn’t be an issue for me. I’m currently staying about a block away from a route 128 bus stop, which will give me a one bus ride to the Junction, and I have a disabled bus pass, so the rides are only 75 cents each.
I’ll post back here tomorrow, with my appointment info anyway.

Tll David there’s no chili for Saturday. I’m doing Corn Chowder and Garlic Bread Not sure of desert yet. It’s the end of the month and I didn’t have to buy anything for it. Hope we’ll see you there.

happy hourParticipantHey, just stopped by WS Optix. Missed Mike by minutes. I also asked that he have transitional lenses for interior and exterior darkening (for sun protection-on those 20 days a year we need it)and they were pleased to do it for him :)
The frames look the same as the old ones-geeeee no funky red ones with glitter or anything Elton John would choose!!!
