This is a small, independent, neighborhood business serving thousands of primarily West Seattle families & supporting WestSide Baby, among other charities for children and families in need.

Our new retail Earth-Animal-Kid Friendly Footwear department is cruelty free.

Preference is given to candidates who are members of the West Seattle Community with knowledge and understanding of factory farming and how kids footwear could possibly be animal friendly.

Job requires: A), strong communication and CUSTOMER SERVICE skills, B), background with hunting for quality bargains, C), good working knowledge and experience with all phases of pregnancy and parenting including all the clothing, toys, books, and equipment that pregnancy and parenting entails.

Job involves some lifting (up to 50 lbs.), an affinity for babies and children, critical thinking, squeezing into small spaces, multi-tasking, computer friendliness, ability to work well with others and independently, mechanical / repair abilities, CLEANING, basic accounting, and, a special flair for “keeping shop” in an attractive, pleasant, fun and festive way.

College, and experience with children, retail, performing arts, event planning, athletics, garage sale-ing, craiglslisting or e-baying, all a plus.

Shop is open 7 days / week. Schedule is Part Time & can possibly be flexible, but must be reliable.
