Door-to-door in Arbor Heights

Just a heads-up, in case. A woman from the same group (at least, with a very similar spiel and documentation) came on–I think–Monday or Tuesday. Supposedly they are hired by an organization that gives them a chance to “get off the streets” and provides job training. The man (today) objected when I asked to take his picture–so I didn’t. He didn’t stop at any other houses on my block that I saw, but immediately headed off south. Maybe they are legitimate, and maybe not.

Sounds like the Midwest Clearing magazine sales subcontractor people. The business exists, many BBB complaints, and their door-to-door salespeople have never shown up with appropriate vendors’ licenses – at least not up our way. I’ve called the main office a couple times and have never received a call back.
