Only 20% of King County voters have returned their ballots so far. Referendum 71 is expected to win or lose at the margins. WE NEED YOUR VOTE! Please fill in the “approved” bubble for Ref. 71 now and mail you ballot today. Your vote matters!

Referendum 71 asks voters to approve or reject the domestic partnership law. Vote APPROVED to preserve the law and protect ALL Washington families. ApproveReferendum71.org

and I’m actually seeing some people encouraging voters to drop off their ballots now rather than mailing them. I respectfully disagree as I think it may hurt the returns if people get busy tomorrow, etc. Just get it in the mail, postmarked, and counted :)

I am actually taking mine to the ballot box at the WC library this evening. I always feel better when I can drop it in a ballot box – gives me a greater sense of security. I know I should have done it before tonight (slaps self on wrist).

i like the drop off boxes… it gives me the sense of going to the polls with the convenience to ponder my ballot at leisure..

drop it off… send it in the mail… get it done today.

if you don’t know what to vote for in some races there are plenty of voter’s guides.. or you can just leave issues that trouble you blank.

contrary to popular cynical opinion.. your vote does count.

The closest neighborhood center with a drop off box is Delridge, 5405 Delridge Way SW, 98106. You have to get it there by 8:00 p.m.

If you want to mail it, get it to the Post Office in time to get it postmarked before 8:00 p.m.

Please go to the neighborhood center at Delridge. The box is right out front and the center is in the same cluster as the library there. You can park in the library parking lot. The box is in front of the bus stop and this is a busy time of day for busses!

You can also drop off your ballot at the White Center Library, 11220 16th S.W., Seattle, 98146.

Please don’t be a deadbeat voter like Joe Mallahan has done many times already.
