At least I think that’s its name. German shepherd, today at Westcrest around noon.

I just wanted to let you know that my dog was innocently chasing a ball and Magic lunged at her and bit her on the shoulder. The bite was totally unprovoked.

Then Magic wandered off and it took me a while to identify the owner, but if I’m not mistaken you’re an elderly lady.

I was annoyed, but didn’t think much of it at the time. But when we got home my dog was bleeding. It’s still really not that big of a deal but…

That german shepherd shouldn’t be at Westcrest if it’s going to randomly attack other dogs. Please don’t bring it there.

Checking with a regular dog-walker to see if the dog/owner is a regular. What time of day were you there?

Thanks. Around noon on the 25th.

Turns out it was a fairly nasty bite. It will require a vet visit.

    maplesyrup…

    I am so sorry.

there is nothing worse than having your dog hurt because of someone else’s negligence…

picking up the vet bill only ads insult to injury.

maybe a visit to the dog park without your dog would help to reconnect with Magic’s owner..

Yeah I plan to do that this weekend, Jan. And thanks for your concern JoB.

I’m bumping this thread in case anyone knows Magic or its owner because, unfortunately I found out that the bite became infected unusually quickly and the vet suspects that Magic is carrying something.

Oh and the vet bill was $450.

So if anyone knows Magic’s owner I’d appreciate it if you could point them to this thread.

Having to spend the money sucks, of course, but more than that I really don’t want an infected dog running around Westcrest biting other dogs.
