We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our corporate team in Seattle.

The office is located at 4600 37th Ave SW in West Seattle.

This is a full time position which includes an excellent benefits package, bonus potential and room for growth.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Customer Service Representative interacts with customers to ensure that all customer orders are entered into the system and that orders are monitored to ensure customer expectations are met.

Essential Duties:
• Ensure that all customer orders are entered into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers on all issues related to their orders.
• Send order acknowledgements to customers.
• Ensure pricing in the system is accurate.
• Coordinate with shipping and planning to ensure customer orders are processed timely.
• Coordinate with outside freight company to ensure shipments are processed timely.
• Maintain customer files in the system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma equivalent and at least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with EDI transactions.
• Experience with Customer and Freight Vendor online portals.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, suppliers and customers.
• Computer proficiency required. Proficient with daily use of the Microsoft Office Suite; skill with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Experience with ERP systems required. Knowledge of Sage X3 a plus.
