So I’ve been craving a Cuban sandwich. The only place I know of to find one is a small hole-in-the-wall downtown, which is closed today. I’m looking for more places that have a Cuban sandwich on their menu. Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Jp…

Paseo in Sodo, across the street from Krispy Kreme, is where I go. Although I have eaten there, Cafe Con Leche is further south on 1st Avenue by the Home Depot.

Cafe con Leche is the best but they have less than ideal hours. I think Elliott Bay has one is a pinch.

The one at Circa is not bad.

PCC sells a Cuban sandwich in their deli department, but I don’t know if it’s the same thing you’re looking for. Unfortunately, it would take a drive to Columbia City to find out.

I tried the Cafe con Leche one a few years ago and was disappointed. PCC’s is really good, and the version they dish up at Metropolitan is pretty good, too. My guess is that Husky Deli might make one also, but I haven’t tried it.
Paseo’s Caribbean-style sandwiches are totally awesome, but I don’t think of them as Cubans. Perhaps they have a Cuban on their menu and I just haven’t explored that end of their menu?
