Question, will the Cracked West Seattle High-rise Bridge get repaired with money from Initiative 976?
City Bridge confirmed the crack at the top of the West Seattle Freeway Bridge and reassured me that they are monitoring the crack.
I am still undecide about I-976 because I see our roads, potholes and bridges in worst condition and little has been done with all the money the state has collected for years now.
We have been paying this tax for years and all the money goes to big projects not in west Seattle.

I-976 will have zero effect on fixing pot holes or any roads in West Seattle….
ST3 will still be charged, but at actual value of your vehicle (KBB). ST3 has been over charging fee’s based on what you paid for your car when it was NEW. Read the ballet, not what you see on TV! ST3 made everyone believe that they would pay about $40 based on a $5,000 vehicle. Vote Yes on I-976

We need accountability. Our taxes keep increasing, and what do we have to show for it here in West Seattle – and perhaps elsewhere. Example: For the education tax, I know a number of teachers who have voted NO. They want great schools for our kids, but they know the funds are being misappropriated.

As shown by his past actions, Eyman is interested in one thing: Enriching Tim Eyman. Period. Yes, I would like my vehicle taxes to be based on my vehicles Blue Book worth. But I take the bus to work and my cars are idle for the most part hence I have old low mileage vehicles because I take the bus. We need more transit and it just won’t show up by magic. If Seattle voters would stop voting yes on every property tax maybe Tim Eyman would have to get a job.

I like how they keep showing the I-5 Skagit river bridge, That bridge was struck by an over height vehicle. It was a structurally sound bridge. Why hasn’t Burien fixed the 116th way bridge. They tore it down several years ago…., guess they keep spending the money on 1st ave buy Fred Meyer.
