I work downtown and was planning on taking a quick water taxi trip over to the West Seattle to view the eclipse. I’m pretty sure that view would be unobstructed since the sun will be in the ESE direction.
Does anyone have any thoughts or foresee any issues with this plan?
I urge people to experience the eclipse from a greenbelt or wooded park, as I did many years ago. Your “view” of the eclipse will be far less memorable than the unexpected sound of birds and animals going crazy in unison as the natural world abruptly changes.
