Isnt construction limited to daylight hours only? I have to hear these saws, trucks and very loud machines all day and now at night too? This cant be legal.

That is very noisy and I would be annoyed as well…..not sure if there within the city code or not but here’s the link to find out.

I suppose they could consider it emergency work, or have some sort of other approval to do it at that hour. Sorry you’re dealing with it though – legal or not, it’s got to be annoying.

The city noise ordinance kicks in at 10:00 p.m. so they can make noise up until then unless they exceed the city specified decible level…..
