miwsParticipantGiving a heads-up to everyone; on Saturday, August 27th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Nickelsville will be holding a car wash to help raise funds to cover our ongoing expenses, mainly the porta-potties and dumpster service.
The Les Schwab location at 6111 4th Av S (at Front St) is generously donating the space and water for us hold this event. Cash donations gladly accepted!
So, mark it down on your calendars, come on down to the Les Schwab on 4th South, near Michigan St on the 27th, and get your car washed by Nickelodeons!
(And please help me keep this thread bumped up! ;-) )

I suspect some people, not in WS look there too for information and it isn’t very current. I’d hate to see potential customers lost because they never found you.

WSBKeymasterSide note, and if you can’t comment, tell me who to ask, but I’m wondering if the city kept the commitment councilmembers seemed to make regarding helping with utility hookups. (Putting this on the front page now BTW, it’s close enough.)

I don’t know if the city council is any closer to an agreement that would actually make Nickelsville even temporarily legal thereby allowing them to get utilities…
i do know that as of yesterday afternoon they had not done so.
the car wash’s main goal is to raise money to fund the over-utilized portable sanitation systems…
