    I have been battling a spam issue for several years with my Comcast email address. Comcast’s solution–change your email address. That is not quite the solution I was hoping for. Curious, are others out there experiencing a similar spam issue with Comcast? Trying to determine if this is an issue specific to me, or if this is an issue of Comcast being lax in addressing spam. Note, I do have spam filters set up and have also set up specific filters against egregious scammers, yet the spam issue continues.

    We too have a spam issue and got the same reply from Comcast as you. Just since the 15th we’ve gotten 18 spam emails that I hadn’t deleted deleted yet. Very infuriating!

    Well, I have had Comcast email for several years. Not one piece of spam in ages. It really depends on how much on line shopping you do and use your email address. I have a separate gmail account for when any site asks for an email address. Keeps my persona Comcast inbox clean.

    Also, at the top of the email, next to the delete button, you can click on spam and Comcast will send any email from that address to your spam filter.

    Yes Mr. Waldo I’m aware of the “spam” button and I myself do not do a lot of online shopping, now the hubby… well… I believe it is from just looking at some websites. And yes we use ad blockers too, I think if they want in they find a way no matter how hard to try to keep them out!

    Thanks. I’ve clicked that spam button hundreds of times with no improvement. Have received nearly 3,000 spam emails just this year. I have also set up Comcast’s Filter Rules to block exact, specific email addresses, yet they still come through. I have also forwarded thousands of spam emails to Comcast’s abuse email address with no improvement. Very frustrating.

    I get tons of spam on my comcast email. I don’t want to change my email address. I don’t know how to address it but I am sick of it.
