Sometimes I find it is fun to hear funny things but this evening around 5:20pm on my way home I had to stop suddenly to let a chicken cross the road. 35th no less at the Raymond light. Just your completely random event that makes me enjoy things around here.

Wow! I’m used to the free range chickens down at Delridge and Holden. Nice to know we have one closer to home. And its great that s/he knew to cross at the light!

Maybe we should contact the City about putting in crossing flags, with the pole mounted holders at chicken height, at that crosswalk. ;-)
