mcdeMemberMy daughter needs her prom dress hemmed to a shorter length. Can anyone recommend a shop that does good work and has reasonable prices?

IrukandjiParticipantI’ve been really pleased with the alterations shop just north of Cafe Lladro on California. I don’t recall the name of the shop.

FranciParticipantI think you are refering to Mrs. Kim, from my best recollection the window does have a sign that says Alterations. She is reasonable, does a good job, and has a quick turn around.

Westside2ParticipantIf you are talking about the same place, it’s Fit All Alterations – 6900 block of California. I’ve been going there for years and have always been very happy with the job they do.

mcdeMemberI ended up taking the dress to Fits All Alterations and they did a great job at a very affordable price. I checked out a couple of other places and they both quoted $20.00+ higher than Fits All. Thanks lrukandji,squareeyes,franci and westside2 for the recommendation.
