Please somebody help. The light is quadrupling traffic backup.

I’ve noticed that when trying to go straight along Admiral, and have sat through as many as four light cycles before making it though the light.

I’ve noticed a lot of backup as well. Last night at about 5 going eastbound the backup was all the way back to 46th, very unusual. I ended up turning down a side street. It also seems like they’ve changed the timing on the lights, going west bound I had to wait at all 3.

I tried to exit the cleaners yesterday and had to sit though 3 lights before I got out into the street… then turned into an alley to avoid sitting though a 4th light.

we should add more lanes, its the bike thugs!, the condos fault, off leash dogs, and people are prowling your car while you wait for the light. These are the things going on in your neighborhood, trust your gut!

Don’t let cars park in the right lane from BoA East to California.

Half your problem solved right there.

Problems with traffic lights can be reported to the city. Sometimes they don’t know about the problem, and when I reported a light, I was surprised to get an e-mail right back saying they were going to fix it (heavy rain somehow caused it to get off-time).

    Dear OP:

Perhaps you can post to this new “blog” site the city is featuring:

    http://sdotblog.seattle.gov/ask-us-a-question/

They won’t know there is a problem if the residents don’t let them know.

To JayDee’s point, even better, PLEASE call the SDOT hotline

    684-ROAD

I have not yet asked them about this one but they did promise to do something this week about the Fauntleroy signal timing, and we will be watching to make sure it happens.
